We collaborate closely with local and Indigenous communities, conservation projects, and local guides to co-create journeys that are respectful, immersive, and grounded in real relationships. Our approach prioritizes responsible travel, ensuring that each experience supports local initiatives and contributes positively to the environments we visit.
We believe travel can be a powerful way to learn, reconnect with nature, and better understand the cultures and ecosystems that shape each destination. Our journeys invite travelers to slow down, observe, and engage with places beyond the surface.
Our Story
OME Expeditions emerged from years of hands-on experience working in community-based conservation, environmental projects, and nature-focused initiatives across Latin America.
Along the way, we saw how many travel experiences overlook local perspectives and the realities of conservation on the ground. OME was created as an alternative: a way to design travel experiences that are thoughtful, small-scale, and rooted in collaboration.
Each journey is carefully curated and intentionally limited in size, allowing for deeper connection with landscapes, communities, and conservation efforts. From marine restoration initiatives to highland ecosystems and rainforest regions, our experiences are shaped together with the people who know these places best.
